Nathan Milgram

Founder & CEO

Nathan Milgram is an accomplished Saber fencer and a third generation fencing coach. He started Fence The Bay in honor of his grandmother, USA Fencing Hall of Fame inductee, Sherry Posthumus. Nathan Believes in sports ability to teach accountability, teamwork, and resilience. These values are evident in the tenacity, dedication, and discipline of the programs he advises. 

Nash Young

Armorer & Program Advisor

Nash Young is a Bay Area Native and Life long fencer. He uses his experience a Div 1 student Athlete at Stanford University to design future focused programs that prioritize physical fitness and high level fencing. Nash also ensured the quality of Fence The Bay’s donated equipment.

 

Samantha Wiggon

Board Secretary

Samantha is a former athlete and attorney. Her experience in both athletics and administration helps her keep Fence The Bay’s programs are in compliance with best practices for safety and equity, and helps our administrators manage the organization.

James Quaranta Jr.

Treasurer & Program advisor

James is an accomplished Epee Coach and Non-profit administrator. His dedication to education through fencing shines through his students as they embark on tournaments throughout the bay area. In addition, his experience in organizational management helps his advisees create meaningful programs that can grow and function independently.
